Winning a bronze medal at the Australian Fruit Wine Awards 2009, for the sweet kiwifruit wine, Monbulk Winery produces three varieties - dry, semi-sweet and sweet. The only local kiwifruit wine maker in the area, the fruit are grown organically on the property.
The high amount of vitamin C (about twice as much as in a single orange) is retained in the kiwi fruit wine.
Monbulk also produces strawberry, cherry, strawberry and plum blend, and raspberry (coming soon!)
Monbulk buys organic fruit from local growers and markets, and supports local farmers trade.
