Established in the eighties Monbulk Winery is a small family run business producing grape wines, fruit wines, and Snake Gully cider.
Only an hour from central Melbourne and situated in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges, the winery has spectacular 360 degree views across the region. Visitors are welcome to sample the wines during opening hours, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m, Wednesdays to Sundays, or by appointment on Monday and Tuesday.
The first known commercial producer of kiwifruit wines in Australia, the cellar opened its doors in 1984. With this unique expertise, Monbulk wine has been exported to neighbouring countries as well as sold in Australia.
At over 300 metres above sea level, the exceptional red volcanic soil provides the perfect growing condition to produce grapes and fruit for winemaking.
Rich in flavour, and blended to perfection Monbulk Winery sells a range of white, red and fruit wines including strawberry wine, strawberry and plum, cherry, kiwifruit, Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, and blends.
